Who We Strive to Become
In Keeping with Our Mission, Vision, and Values
Our Mission
Our mission, at Aging in Place with Pets®, is to help older adults and adults with disabilities in our greater Burlington community (within Chittenden County, Vermont) to take care of, and keep, their pets.
We provide social and emotional support as well as physical assistance among these vulnerable populations whose pets motivate them to stay independent within the comfort of their and their pets' homes.

Our Vision
Our vision is to spread awareness not only in our greater Burlington community but also throughout the United States of the value, and importance, of helping older adults and adults with disabilities to keep their pets since these vulnerable, but still capable, populations are most at risk for surrounding their pets.
Our Values
Openness and Honesty
We are who we say we are.
Dignity and Respect
We treat you and your pets with dignity and respect, so much so that we decided to make it our slogan.
Safety, Comfort, and Independence
We are committed to helping older adults and adults with disabilities to regain, and maintain, their independence in the instrumental activity of daily living (IADL) of the care of pets within the safety and comfort of their and their pets' home.
Meaning and Purpose
We incorporate meaning and purpose into everything that we do — from our Tuesday and Thursday Program to our Monday and Wednesday Service to our Saturday Event to our Friday Workshop.
Reassurance
We want you to know everything is going to be okay.
