What we do
To learn more about how we can help you and your pets through our Tuesday and Thursday Program, Monday and Wednesday Service, Saturday Event (which is coming soon), and Friday Workshop, please scroll down or click on one of the following buttons.
Tuesday and Thursday Program
The purpose of our Tuesday and Thursday Program is to help older adults and other vulnerable populations to regain, and maintain, their independence in taking care of their pets. We visit each of our Participants within the comfort of their and their pet's (or pets') home, where we provide them with the social, emotional, and physical support that they and their pet(s) would benefit from, and need, to stay together.
Monday and Wednesday Service
The purpose of our Monday and Wednesday Service is to provide Participants in our Tuesday and Thursday Program with as-needed, more frequent support with taking care of their pets.
Whether one of our Participants is staying at their home recovering from an injury or illness or staying at a hospital, inpatient rehabilitation facility, or skilled nursing facility, we can help them to take care of their pets up to four days a week so that they can focus on taking care of themselves. And, we can coordinate with others (such as their social worker) to make sure that all of our pets' needs are addressed.
Saturday Event
Coming Soon!
We plan to table at farmers markets (and other events that regularly take place on Saturdays) starting in 2026 throughout the greater Burlington community to spread more awareness about our nonprofit organization.
Friday Workshop
We're collaborating with an arts and crafts organization in the greater Burlington community to hold our Friday Workshop for some of the Participants in our Tuesday and Thursday Program.
