Blake and his wonderful team have been invaluable to helping me with all aspects of taking care of my dog who is, and will continue to be, essential for my quality of life. He and his Coaches are always there for me when I need help with taking care of her. They answer my questions and solve problems whenever they arise. He is extremely conscientious when I need his support. We also work on arts and crafts activities such as painting and knitting, which helps me feel less lonely. He was an excellent advocate for me in keeping my dog at my apartment by overcoming seemingly insurmountable barriers to suggestions that she be relinquished. This was a very distressing time for me, and he reassured staff members at my assisted living facility that I would have all the support that I needed to keep her. It has been a joy to work with him since day one!

What some of our Participants want you to know
I first met Blake right after I adopted my two amazing and wonderful kittens. They were both seriously ill, and my husband and I were very afraid that we would lose one if not both of them. He provided me with emotional support during this incredibly stressful time period. He helped me to navigate resources and stayed in touch with me if I ever needed help with taking care of them, or just needed someone to talk to. I believe in him and I believe in his program so much, and I look forward to him and his team coming every time. I highly recommend this program to other older adults with pets, especially if they don’t have a lot of family members and friends who can help them.

This Program makes an immeasurable difference in my life. It provides me with the support that both my cat and I need for the quality of life that we both deserve. I would highly recommend that others actively take part in this program in pursuit and fulfillment of both their health and well-being and that of their pets who cannot advocate for themselves.

Blake and his team are uncommonly kind individuals who I can surely trust with my cats Amelia and Chloe since they mean the absolute world to me. I always have to tell Amelia to "Stay" whenever they stop by because she's so excited to see them. They give me a well-deserved break from petting her as she's become accustomed to 24/7 attention. He and his volunteers even noticed that I love flamingos and picked out collars with them on it for me. It's the little things like that make a big difference for me. It shows that they care about me and, more importantly, my cats. They recently took them to the veterinarian (and will be taking them there again next year), which is very helpful to me since I no longer drive. I don't know what I would do without these services (and other services) available to me within to the comfort of my cat and I's home through this program.

I have two pets, my dog Harry and my cat Pearl, who both provide me with the comfort that I need to help me relax at home. Harry has a lot of energy! He, Pearl, and I love when Coaches take him on nice, long walks. I am thankful and grateful for this service as well as other services that are available to me through this Program.

My dog Marley has been a central part of my life for the past 13 years. His unconditional love and unwavering support are incredibly important to me. As he and I both grow older, I realize and appreciate the support and services available through this program. It is designed to meet my dog and I's specific needs so that we can lead our lives with dignity and respect, which is why is has been invaluable to both of us.

He and his team have been tremendously helpful with my mother's dog Timmy. They helped make it possible for her, at 86 years old (as of February 2025), to keep him. They walked him twice a week, groomed him as needed, and were always willing to help her with anything else she might need for him until he unfortunately passed away. We appreciate his help for all that he does, and we highly recommend this service.
